28 / 06 / 2004 - Congratulation to David Smith and our newest team Burton member Elyse Yardley on their selection in the Australian Youth Kayak team. The team has just returned from a tour to Europe and from all reports was a very successful tour for the team, David and Elyse. The whole experience was well received by David and Elyse and they have stated they are on track for the up coming World Titles in 2005.

December 2003 - I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to the first edition of Burton Surf News for 2003/2004, summer surf season. I would also at this time like to let you in on what's been happening at Burton Surf over the chilly winter months.

Last Season we introduced our new range of Senior Paddle Boards and Nipper boards. We have had a lot of positive feedback and we will be continuing on with further development within our current product range and expanding out into new fields.

A major change for Burton Surf is that we have just recently sold South Coast Surf Boats to the Bean Family. Wez Bean has been with us for the past 4 years and has just completed his shipwright apprentice with us,  we wish him and his family all the best in the future with South Coast Surf Boats.

Ron Kelly from Burton Surf, will be continuing on with his sales of second hand surf boats, with Burton Surf doing the refurbishments that may be needed. Please contact Ron Kelly at ron@burtonsurf.com.au for any enquiries.

As two of our long serving employees of Burton Surf have moved onto South Coast Surf Boats, we have employed three new people to our team here at Burton Surf. Whilst, we have a couple of new, up and coming members in our manufacturing team,  there still remains highly skilled tradesman that will ensure that the customer receives quality workmanship.
